The Beta Band – Dog Got A Bone
Another song off another record released in 1997 I’d like to give a mention to: ‘Dog Got A Bone’ off The Beta Band’s Champion Versions EP.
I didn’t buy this EP when it came out. I bought the 3EPs album in ’98, aptly titled as it collected together the 3EPs The Beta Band had released so far.
The most well-know song off Champion Versions (indeed maybe the most well-known song of the Beta Band full stop) is the opener ‘Dry The Rain’ (in no small part due to it being used in the film High Fidelity) so I thought I’d choose ‘Dog Got A Bone’, the last song on the EP.
